So stinkin’cute! Valentines from 3dsvg.com. Its a rainy Saturday, ALL DAY, so i’m working on a couple different projects. These are fairly quick and straightforward to put together. Embellish however you want. I have craft supplies galore so i added some puffy heart stickers to some. And of course you need some Googly Eyes! Stay tuned….i will be posting a magnificent project by the end of the day today or tomoro!
This pretty little vase and flowers is a file from 3dsvg.com. It was a lot of fun to put together although the leaves were a little tricky for me. It took a few extra supplies, such as some skewers to hold the flowers, floral tape to wrap the skewers, glue gun for a little bit tighter hold in a couple places on the flowers, and I filled a sandwich baggie with a handful of unpopped popcorn kernels to add a little weight to the bottom of the vase for stability. I created this as a birthday gift for a friend in lieu of real flowers
that would die in a weeks time. She was delighted with the gift!
So this adorable little Victorian house is a file from 3dsvg.com. The file is called Midnight Manor and is designed as a haunted house for Halloween. I just love house structures and all the Victorian details this file has so I changed the paper colors and I have a standard house. It has cutouts on the backside to place tea lights in. The front windows are covered with vellum ( I actually used tracing paper because I discovered I was out of vellum while cutting this file) making the tealights able to light up the structure. The top center roof is not glued on but sits comfortably on the middle tower so you can remove the center roof to place a tea light inside. It took several hours to make and I’m happy with the outcome. I feel like I can make small decorations for any holiday, season or occasion to embellish the house to suit my preference. The biggest challenge was deciding on colors to ensure I had enough sheets of each color for the number of mats needed to cut the complete file. Planning is everything! 😊
So my son is turning 21 today! And instead of making a cute card I decided to make him an RV! The file came from 3dSVG.com and I have had the file for a couple years now and just haven’t made it. So this seemed like a great occasion. This item is actually a box, and it’s called Walt’s RV on their website but I don’t know why. Haha. Anyway it turned out super cute and I placed some gift cards inside the box.
Some cute little black eyed susans made w my cuttlebug. I will probably make more for another pop up card!😊
So I’m starting a blog! Why? Because I have a passion for creating anything. I love working with all kinds of materials but really love the fun of paper! And I love to share my creations so this is a great place to be! I hope you have fun with me!
